Did a big Easter breakfast and made some homemade white sausage gravy, I have a good Tupperware bowl of it left, anyone have any ideas/recipes for left over white sausage gravy? Or has anyone ever frozen it & does it freeze well? TIA

This.

Could also make a great addition to Shepherd's Pie.

I don't personally like the stuff on biscuits, but it could be the foundation of a decent pot pie filling. Add a bunch of diced veg (carrots, potatoes, green peas, mushrooms, etc), some additional seasonings, and put it into a dish with a pastry crust on top. Bake til browned...

Pot pie? Chicken fried steak? White sausage gravy?

Those are definitely not south louisiana fare.

Some who post on here are not challenged by squiggly lines drawn on a piece of paper.

So you don't eat focaccia bread, goat cheese, imported beer, or lobster? Please. I live my heritage every day, I don't have to eat a caricature of it on the plate. It cracks me up how the Watsons and the Williamses are somehow now Cajuns because they've spent a generation or two in south LA. Je ne crois pas, neg.
