Can riot fix their matchmaking across all game modes?

I don't care about MMR in ranked vs MMR in teambuilder.

If I have to play against another team that has multiple plats and/or golds against a team of all bronze and silvers, I'm gonna lose my mind. Can't even learn anything at that point when you're getting arse raped because of the skill gap.

5.6 drops this week with all the nerfs/buffs ive previously discussed.

there is a big item change though that will affect midlane mages. And no its not that POS Ludens Echo(ill discuss this later).

Athenes Unholy grail is receiving a big buff.
100% mana regen up from 50%
30% mana restored from kill/assist up from 15%

chalice price reduced to 900g from 1000g.

this will return Ori, Ziggs, Xerath, Gragas, Lux, syndra and many other farm heavy mages to the midlane. (which i like to play)

regarding ludens echo, there is some solid discussion on reddit and youtube on why this item is bad. To summarize:
1) No CDR
2) not a viable replacement to take away the core of Athenes/Morellelos, RabaDC, Zhonyas, VS. These 4 items synergize so well together
3) 5th mage item could provide utility like liandries/rylais, or a rushed item to stack up like Seraphs/RoA
4) Maybe could get away with replacing your boots with ludens as a 6th item
5) only theoretically maybe decent on Katarina and Cassio, but then every cassio main says its garbage on her and i agree with them. Cassio needs other items a lot more
6) Build path is shite. NLR is the most expensive component item in the game at 1600g. Aether Wisp blows.
7) A lot of the large amount of AP granted is 'lost', due to how ap ratio on spells work

a few other reasons. Bottom line is you can maybe make it work and win some games with LE , but, there are better items and buildpaths available no matter what.
