Yeah its basically 1v9.

As you get experience you'll figure out champs abilities and their visual ques, and how to check your teammates item builds to determine if they are actually building tank (mr, armor, health), and where to position yourself to make the enemy have a tougher time engaging.

it really sucks to have a full item dmg build and then get 1 shot by an assassin. Vision wards on your flanks are really important

so I think ADC is quickly becoming my favorite class, but I also think I'm going to need to learn a tank character, where should I start? I think I'm going to play a tank build all afternoon today.

(basically, I want to learn how to be good at the job my ADC needs beside it, to better understand how to use my ADC... and also to give support to the guy that picks an ADC before me, so the map isn't full of ADCs)

Volibear is free right now and one of the best tanks in the game. He is ridiculously tanky. Try him out.

Dr mundo is also a crazy good tank.

Tank items: randuins omen , spirit visage, ninja tabi, mercury treads, thornmail, banshee veil, warmogs

Are you talking about Support, the person in bot lane with you?

Some Supports are tanks, but not all tanks are supports.
There are also some AP mage type supports such as Morgana, Vel'Koz and Annie.
The tanky supports include Braum, Leona, and Alistar.
You also have another group of supports that brings amazing peel/CC: Thresh, Blitzcrank, etc.

I main support and I love it, but I will admit to you, support players almost never recieve thanks or credit and you never get kills.
