Jarvan is far and away my favorite jungler, probably my favorite champ. His ganks are strong with a knockup and a slow, and once he gets six he just has retarded amounts of CC. He does pretty good damage for a tank, and one of my favorite things in team fights is E->Qing into the enemy ADC, knocking the whole team up, and sticking on them, forcing them to run away all while I beat their face in with my spear. But you have to be careful with that ult. You can either be a hero and save your carry or team, or securing a kill... or, you can be THAT jarvan that traps his carry in with opponents and fricks them over. "IM JARVAN, IM HELPING"
All I wanted to point out was that if support is boring, you're doing it wrong. I don't play as much as I used to, but support was my main for quite a while, then started jungling. A good support does lots for the team and even more for their ADC in laning phase and out of laning phase. Ward placement is most important, but you should be counterwarding, poking, etc. Sona is my favorite. Build a Kage's pick and her poke is stronk.
That being said, playing support to a shitty ADC is frustrating. I'm a damn good support so if you fail as ADC with me supporting, you really need help. If that happens I usually find whoever is most fed on our team after laning phase and stick with them to try to get them more fed.

Top tank is ok. I can 2v1, but it kinda gets boring.
I'm not a very strong mid-laner, but I haven't practiced that much.
Support sucks to play when the ADC sucks.
ADC is fun sometimes, but I feel stuck bot.
Someone is usually losing their lane and having flexibility to help them out appeals to me (team player kinda mentality).
I'm thinking a good jungler would solidify my interest in that role.

I liked support when I had a decent free support champion, and decent ad carries.
Just sucks when adc sucks.
So after 8-10:00 and my adc has 20 CS. I say screw it.
Just the last week, it's been Zyra.
So luckily, she's a decent ap and I can help salvage the game.
