I'm just going to spam Jax until I make it back to silver. It worked last season and it looks like it is going to work this season too. He is so OP in bronze. Even jungle Jax can come out of the jungle after 20 minutes with good enough items to rape both the carries.
Someone tell me why Jax isn't a fricking beast right now.
Also, Mundo is probably my favorite champ to face in lane. Zero kill potential. I'm convinced he is only barely viable in the jungle right now.

Jax is one of my perma bans since Susan and Kayle got hit with nerfs. He and Shyv will never see the light of day when I'm first pick.

I don't smartcast all my abilities, with Thresh's Flay being one of them

Been spamming Jax jungle the last few days.
Since he's been out of vogue for a while now in the jungle (and just sits in lane forever when played top), people are forgetting how to play against him..... RUN!
When I play with people that know how to capitalize on his stun, and chain cc or dump their burst, free kills.
I can snowball mid and top very hard.
Bot lane has been giving me trouble b/c all of the support have cc and prevent me from sticking long enough to get a kill in the early laning game.
Only thing to remember is that jax is a mid/late game hyper-carry. You just don't have enough damage early to burst people down, unless you catch them out. (I've had several games where people complain about my gank effectiveness early... and how much i suck.... only to see jax nuke someone shortly thereafter.)
Just use the gap closer and stun to create pressure and use the passive to take early turrets.
When I get some early kills and start to snowball, the game is usually a surrender.
If we're behind and I don't have much gold, I just go full turret destroyer.... even just straight up dying to tower or giving up kills to take objectives, b/c I know that I can always erase a carry late game.

Jax always seems to find a way to creep back into the meta. Just when you think he's gone for good, BAM.

Streaming ranked on my main for a bit. If it feels like there's less energy I've been fighting a virus for a few days. Hopefully on the mend.

I wouldn't know since your young whipper snapper arse doesn't have a job and listens to loud music.
I hope I see you on my lawn one day so I can tell you to get off it.

Been messing around with Nasus Jungle on my smurf. Dude is hella fun to play as a tank...although the 25 kill fed Riven pissed me off to no end.
Is it just me or do people not understand that NOT DYING is just as, if not more important than getting kills sometimes?

You say you are playing on a smurf right? Then you're playing with low levels and you can't expect them to be good or even very knowledgeable about playing the game.

I don't expect much from lower levels honestly, as I understand the game can take forever to learn. I mainly use it to try champs I've never played before.
But one of the things it didn't take me long to realize when I first started playing was that getting killed is always a bad thing. That and when I do something once or twice and it doesn't work in the least, then I stop doing it. That's with any game. I'm not sure why it's lost on the League crowd at any level.
ETA: The comment was directed at the League population in general, not necessarily lower leveled players.

Well, in LoL, I've found that if something works once.... people tend to believe it always works.
So, instead of it being the one fluke time it turned out positive... they tend to believe that all of the failed attempts were the flukes or due to other people on their team.
For instance, I've recently realized that I tend to stay pushed up too long or split push too long.
I can clearly remember several awesome Shyvana games where I 1v2'd or 2v3'd their team for several towers and got all the way to an inhib.
But, I have a hard time clearly remembering all of the times I got wrecked doing that.
It's typical to have selective recall and not truly identify mistakes.
---------------------------------
I watched a streamer last night talk about the difference between the Pros and Silvers have less to do with mechanics and more to do with understanding the game and understanding their opponents' mentality.
To focus on his specific point, he meant understanding their motives, decisions, and using that knowledge to decide if they should keep split pushing, recall, go for baron, etc.
Their Pro SoloQ decisions are made more on what the opponents want to do, rather on the tunnel vision of what they want (or a combination).
I really like that idea. I knew this subconsciously, but active thoughts about the other team will help me increase my affect on the game.

I've heard a lot of higher elo players say that. They say that mechanically most silver players could hold their own against high diamond, it's the strategy and execution of the game as a whole that separates the tiers.

Last pick trolls and picks Renekton after I've locked Tryndamere when we need an adc then refuses to go bot. So I go both with Thresh and we absolutely DESTROY Jinx and Leona. I don't know how it happened, but we wrecked that lane. Renekton tried his best to throw but just completely ignoring everyone, but 6 item Trynd is just stupid. One more win till promos to Silver 4.

Sometimes the matchups are in your favor. Sometimes it's just a good day. You never can tell about super off-meta lanes.
Had a game last night with an enemy Heimer/Shen bot lane vs vayne/annie. They were super hard to gank and kept poking the adc/support down so they couldn't follow up on ganks. Even though I'd chunk those guys pretty low.
You either need a lane swap or just try to face roll the other lanes and get out of laning asap.

The matchup 'should' have been a disadvantage. Leona could have peeled me off jinx all day if she had played right. But Thresh made Jinx his little bitch.
