per PFT.
Don't know anything about him.
ETA: graded out well per PFF:
Kenyon Coleman DI 11 years experience DAL UFA +4.7 167 snaps
Graded out 13th out of about 70 interior defenders. Just to clarify, he's a 3-4 DE, not a 4-3 DE/OLB type.

He's 33. Played with the Cowboys. 6-5 293. Good signing.

All I know is that he's been with Rob Ryan since Cleveland.

He only played 7 games last year. He might be coming off of an injury.

He had 67 tackles in 2010 which was his last season seeing a lot of time. Averaged 4.19 tackles per game which is the equivalent to 3 Sedrick Ellis'.

Is it safe to say we are pulling out of the Nnamdi sweepstakes with another signing?

frick no. You've gotta believe man.

Not necessarily. If he signs a one year deal for the vet minimum, he only eats up about $100k of cap space.

No, because Mickey is a cap genius.

This guy is going to come cheap to barely nothing so nhamdi should still be in play.

He's one of Ryan's guys, like Brodney Pool and Abram Elam are. Coleman has been used over the last few years by several teams to help implement the 3-4.
It was only a matter of when, good signing for the cause...

You're one of the few that understands the cap and contracts around here.

People aren't realizing either that most of the guys at the bottom of the roster will not be there when it comes time to get down players and under the cap by the summer. They will be practice squad guys or released. This will make more room not tons but more for guys like this and nhamdi and possibly porter. Then there is always restructuring Strief or Harper.

Good signing. When Tommy Kelly was released I wanted him for the same reason I'm happy with this signing: Depth at a thin and inexperienced position group, and former Ryan player.

So he's robs Pierson prioleau. Got it.

I watched him play last year and think he will soon become a fan favorite.

His wiki says he's a Saint so he's a saint

He's alright. We need the depth anyway and he obviously knows Ryan's system.
