I got a B550 board for $100. You’ve been pretty budget minded with every other piece, so I figure that’s what you’re looking for.

With some caveats, though. I would literally never own a motherboard that didn't have *at least* debug lights, but ideally debug codes. I also likely wouldn't own one that didn't have a dedicated clear cmos button. And having a sans-cpu bios flash ability would likely round out my list of must haves. There could be something else, but I can't think of anything at the moment.
Even ignoring higher performance concerns like vrm and pcie lanes, those quality of life features are worth the $30 it would take for me to get to something like this:

Though they very well may also exist on cheaper boards that I'm not aware of.
