Question for you gurus out there..
I'm looking to upgrade my processor to a 8700k in the next couple months or so. I'm currently using a 7700k, and I did some research and my current mobo doesn't support the 8700k so I'll have to buy a new one if I want to go that rout.
Is it a process to switch out a mobo to support the new chip? I've only ever done complete rebuilds and GPU upgrades. Never needed to switch mobo before.
