what are the gaming advantages for the AMD Ryzen sku's ?
None as of now.
Google Level 1 Tech's non-hype review.

Coyote--Thank you very much for the offer but I am going to pass. The idea of a card that is more energy efficient and brand new is more appealing to me after looking over all factors.
I agree with new Arch. You will get driver support for longer but the 1060 is a pretty weak card moving forward. Maybe look into spending just a little more if you do ever plan on getting a 1440 or 2160 monitor. If the deal is to stick with 1080 you will be fine.

Right now I am firmly planted in the 1080p market where a casual should be
From everything I have been able to read on benches for the card in that resolutions it offers outstanding performance and should be able to do so for quite some time..And then I will get that next "mid range card" that can play 1440P games with no sweat..heck maybe even 4k games by then..What has really pushed me away from that resolution is the expense of quality monitors at that resolution.. When that price comes down , it will open flood gates to casuals I think.
Do you see any potential bottlenecks with the ram/CPU/HDD/GPU I have selected for gaming at 1080p ?
