Physics mostly. Populated worlds, lots of explosions, anything with a large number of dynamic objects normally leaves the CPU to do all of that number crunching. That's why RTS and MMORPGs are historically more CPU-bound. And some games are just coded to use the CPU for certain things for whatever reason. Skyrim shadows rely on CPU, for example.

Anyone have a good recommendation for a desk? Mine is a tad too small and I've been wanting to get another monitor.

Speaking of monitors, should I get the same model as the one I have or does it matter if it's a different make?
