So say I ordered a Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD (ST2000DM001) "bare drive" and a Samsung 840 Evo 250gb SSD "single unit". Does this mean they wont come with any data cables or power cables? And if not does my PSU come with the power cables i would need. I'm assuming just a regular SATA 3 cable would work for data?

1. Why would any drive come with power cables? Almost every PSU brand has an unique input. So no, they do not.

2. No they will not come with SATA cables. Just purchase you the length/color you want off Monoprice/Amazon/NewEgg, they are like .50/ea.

This is a new build? Nice drives you picked out there.

I told you, your motherboard will come with the SATA cables. Your PSU will have the power cables. No need to buy anything extra.
