The only thing I would add is the issue of screen tearing. It can be terrible in some games and situations and I hate it.

Also if you could help me with my pc question I posed for 3d modeling and photo editing. i don't need a build right now but more answers to the questions I asked so I can get some ideas.

SB-E/IB-E or 4770k (maybe even an 8350)
16gb or higher ram
760 or some comparable nvidia card or better

I do discuss tearing right after that excerpt I posted.

Also, I agree with blue's advice 100% on the hardware for the 3d modeling PC.
