right on. My philosophy is basically, if you're going to spend $1000 on a build then you should have equally performing peripherals. The mouse is one of the most important items for gaming. I would skimp on a keyboard but get a good mouse.If he has larger hands then I would suggest the deathadder. Hell you can get one of those at walmart for like $50 and it's worth it. I have the 2013 deathadder that has rubber grips on the side and an upgraded laser and they run around $70. I've had both track a lot better than the cheaper mice that I had before. For less than $50 I would say the logitech g400 especially if you have smaller hands.

I don't play FPS as much as you. This mouse recently replaced my wireless Logitech cheap mouse
