I just added the EVGA Geforce GTX 670 to my rig. No complaints with it so far.

Is the GHz edition of that card also locked? I am too lazy to search.
It's on sale too and I assume you get the same $25 credit
$325 if so

All these price drops for AMD to compete at those price points just signals disparity or 8 series launch near.

The crazy price drops are really only on the Sapphire series though.

Ah gotcha.
What emulators are you guys using? I want to play like every Mega Man game ever right now. I have Mega Man 9 and 10 on a wii somewhere in the attic but no HDMI out is making it unusable.

It's these: LINK
As you can see in the picture, the Haf 932 is becoming too small for my needs. It has decent cable management behind the motherboard, but only for a normal setup.

I'm thinking about doing my first build. Is there a certain time of the year that you can get better deals on parts? Also, I am looking for a build that would be used for Flight Simulator X. I would obviously like to be able to use all the scenery add-ons settings at the highest point. I have a monitor/keyboard/speakers. Just need the other parts. I have seen a few guys on here post specs for others if you explain what you are looking for. If anyone out there is willing to help, I am open for suggestions. I am not up to date on the prices so I cant really give a budget, but I am not looking to spend a fortune. Thanks for the help.

There are always deals. What is your budget? Your monitor is 1080p I assume?

I don't have enough time at the moment to configure something, but for the others who will likely get to it before me, tell us the general ballpark budget. Otherwise, you could just find out FSX minimum requirements and build something super cheap. Or if you give us a budget, we can configure something that will run it at the highest settings possible for the budget.
And for those who help with the build, keep in mind that FSX is more CPU dependent.

I don't really have a dollar amount. If its a build that could last me for a while I am willing to spend the money. If I had to put a dollar amount on it, 750-1000. If I could get something that would work great for less then that's even better. If I have a computer now, can I use some of the parts that are in it for the new build to save money and maybe use that to upgrade other parts? Maybe reuse the ram? From what I have read on here, you can build a high quality computer for fairly cheap compared to buying one.

Like I said though, I don't know how much these builds really cost for something like this so if my price range is way off, sorry. I am not looking at building the ultimate gaming pc that has the most expensive parts on the market. I just want to have something that I can crank the graphics up to high on when I do have some time for games and don't mind paying for something that will last a little while with new games.

Gardoki.. I know you have played through Tomb Raider and came away with a good review.
I'm on my first run through right now, must say it is damn impressive with TrixxFX (Hair HD) turned up. The game looks great with a "gritty" feeling to it. Liking it as of now.

One thing everyone agreed on is it looks great. I turned the tressfx off because it was buggy at launch but I heard that got fixed. I loved the feel it had.

I think that budget will do but I am reading up on fsx to make sure. What monitor do you have?
