what JK actually did with Bradley last night to get a point at Azteca and not some fairy-tale USMNT land where we have a lot of above-average technical players to surround Bradley with and rain goals down on Mexico.

Exactly! The primary goal last night was to get a draw at the most hostile stadium we play. This means sacrificing some of the offensive gameplan. We don't have goal scorers all over the field. So you take your strongest player and have him work methodically through the field. Possess the ball as much as possible, limit your exposure.

Bradley's slow tempo and possession last night is exactly what we needed from him to slow the game down as much as possible. Edu can't handle the ball so please don't anyone say that he can. When Jermaine comes back he'll pair w/ Bradley and MB can go back to roaming box to box. I agree with the general consensus that Bradley offers too much going forward to keep him lying deep on defense all game.

I'll take a draw. I just hate that we had a few counters stalled by backward passing or slowing down the pace.

Also, it pissed me off when Jozy Altidore busted his arse on the left wing on a certain play and everyone including Dempsey, just stood there and didn't make a run or help out at all. Once again, we were playing for the draw. But, c'mon, man !
