I'm not sure. I would think he would have to sit but Im not 100%
He only shot 33% from three point line but Im not sure. I haven't watched any film on him. He was given waiver to leave as long as he didn't go to a Texas school, AAC school, or a team that will face Houston in the next 2 years.
Not sure if waiver allows a player to immediately play or what.

Waiver would allow immediate playing time, and that would be likely a requirement for his coming here.

That waiver just allows him to transfer but with those limitations. He would have to send an appeal waiver to the NCAA to allow him to play immediately due to the new coach. I think they normally allow them to play right away in this circumstance
