13 years old, West Monroe vs St Aug at West Jeff. My dumbass Dad brought a Rebel flag.
There was a drive by in the parking lot during the national anthem. Only time I've ever been scared at an athletic event.

The only time I've ever been a little scared at a sporting event was when my high school played at Vigor in Prichard, AL. It was the second or third round of the playoffs and Vigor is one of those places that has to put barbed wire and broken glass on top of the wall surrounding the stadium.

Cousin played WR for WM that year. Actually caught the only pass for WM in the dome that year (csb). Didnt go but my dad says there were gunshots heard throughout the entire game and that the visiting side was pretty much all white and home all black.
