The older generation, 55 and older, pronounce the city Alexandria,La. as "Elec". That's where that comes from. We that have moved away and don't get Hawthorne on a regular basis like him. He represents LSU to us. We have to hear OM or Ms. State first, then they might mention something about the rest of the SEC. BAMA, Tenn., aTm, or LSU maybe. We miss Hawthorne, you take him for granted. We can only get him late at night on WLS am radio.

I hope he sticks around another 20 years.. For no other reason than to troll these crybabies on here that love to hate on the man.
