. I can't wait for these games to come out easily day one buy. They aren't doing an ff7 remake because they would literally have to remake everything from scratch. For FFX/X 2 they have something to work with to make an easier transition to HD plus they already have voice acting in place.

It wouldn't be completely from scratch. You have the story line and game play system already thought of. I understand it has to be redone to run on current technology. So wouldn't this be a head start from doing a completely new FF?

Also, the original creator said he won't remake FF VII until he feels a newer game has surpassed VII in quality. Which will never happen.
