I second this. Tara has a very active homeowner's association to protect the property values and it is a very quiet neighborhood. You can be on I-12 or I-10 within 7 minutes and in downtown or on the LSU campus in 15 minutes.
I know someone who lives in Tara and loves it.
I live in Goodwood Villa which is next to Tara off LaSalle absolutely love living here, I feel like I can get anywhere in the city within 15 minutes, tons of restaurants and grocery stories in the area.
