Mine has laid down some meat too. After the cleaning I will take it to the range to verify. Still probably going to bowhunt mostly

I wouldn't use it until it had a new trigger mech on it just because I can't stand for a gun to malfunction in any way, but that's just me. It could cost you a big buck next time or even worse go off when you don't want it to.
