Not a guy I see us offering down the line, but a LA recruit everyone seems to have offered to get closer to Fournette no doubt.

Wow, the collateral offers are amazing.

I hope they don't pull his offer in February.

I see Roberts as a legit talent, short, but a definite legit talent we could offer if we miss on a CB or two down the line. I dont see what folks see in Paul. The kid is just really big with no real skillset and is waaaayyyyy out of shape.

Good for him honestly. UF better get on him about the bad weight he's carrying. Could be a good player down the line but I actually think Peyton Winbush is a the better prospect on that OL.

Things must have cooled on the Brumfield front for them to accept Paul's commitment ... Interesting to say the least.

I also find it pretty hard to believe there's not a better Guard prospect in Florida that UF would target...
What do ya'll think will be a bigger influence for LF - waiting 2-3 years for Joseph Paul to be ready to block to block for him, or having Trai Turner and Jonah Austin from St. Aug a couple years ahead at the height of their college careers ready to open up holes for him?
I think LSU has the edge by a small margin there

The only thing I can think of is UF honestly thinks this gets them on really good standing with LF. Bad to give them such false hope

Good for him. Hope the offer is legit and he doesn't get screwed by Florida

Congrats to this kid.

Which is what worries me.
All of these OOS schools are giving "offers" to Louisiana recruits, because they don't have established pipelines to break.
LSU can't offer a LA kid from a major school, then not take him.
We are doing the same with a few Alabama recruits and a number of Texas recruits.

Yep, it's big for him. But you just get the feeling down the line UF will drop him for someone better. Paul to me honestly looks like a guy that's a LT/Houston type of talent.

FWIW we said the same thing last year about Raheem Faulkins
