The only place I've ever felt compelled to complain, the owner was rude and told us we don't understand how fresh restaurants work and basically accused us of lying. The complaint came after the waiter kept us for a full 3 hours (no appetizers.. Just entrees ordered) that night. Every table he had was miserable. He called me a spoiled diva for asking what a dish was like. He was just bad. So. Bad.

It was in Destin. Called Cafe Italia.
It was in this woman's home and she was Italian (I think?) and made some pretty damned good Italian food. But the server was horrible and the "schtick" is that since the food is fresh, you have to wait a long time on it. I'm down for allowing 30-45 minutes for you to make me a fresh pizza (which is what we ordered). I'm not down for spending 3 hours at dinner when there were no apps, no salads, no alcoholic beverages, and no desserts.
The reviews online have people saying that when they complained, the woman yelled at them.
