Guns and accessories that have no purpose other than being maybe cool.

(The chassis, not the pistols. Glocks are fine.)
(The stock not the rifle.)
Unless you need to lay down a shite ton of suppressing fire, and you need to carry it under a jacket:

I don't think a FAL pistol would be that fun to shoot

Well, I guess that would be YOUR opinion.
I actually have a stock very similar to the CAA but mine is Magpul on a 6.8 AR I'm building.
The others, I have little use for but doesn't mean that they don't have a place.

Foregrip makes that an SBR not a pistol according to the ATF

Good point.
Factory pistols like this are a good start for an SBR. Buy it, send in your $200 and play with it as a pistol until your stamp comes through.

You know In all our AR discussions I dont think anyone has mentioned that tactic. Seems a hell of a lot faster than waiting for a stamp prior to purchase.

That doesn't even look cool.
You find some Canebrake?

Yeah and it's perfectly legal. Only God knows why, but if a receiver that starts out as a pistol can legally be made into a rifle (or SBR). It can be swapped back and forth no problem. But a firearm that starts out as a rifle has to stay a rifle. Stupid as shite.

This is exactly what I am currently doing. And it has been mentioned between TTT and I in the AR thread.

May be a bit late to go snag some. I'll have to go on a search tomorrow. I'm optimistic that the Albertson's at Burbank and Bluebonnet will have some. They have just about everything. And they're close to my place.
I'll have to stick with sub-par light beer tonight...

If not just go down the road to calandros on Perkins, I know for a fact they have some. I saw it today while getting a natty pack.

Just because you mentioned this location and its close to my apt... Were you around a couple years ago when that 8yr old shot the teenager during a weed deal gone bad?
ICS sorry man that AR thread is damn near 300 pages long. Theres no way Im going to remember half the shite we talk about in there and no way im gonna go look for it.

Kinda on topic, bap, what cerakote places you recommend? Need to bookmark it, couldn't find your last post about it. I know Barking Irons does it, but I know you had work done by someone else.

Sorry to derail this thread...
I've only been in this place since May of last year. But then again I'm also on the other side of Starring closer to The Cottages. So I may have not heard about it anyway.
I did hear about the guy that got naked and jumped in the road at night though. I believe there may have been some drugs involved...
I had my Beretta 90 two (don't kill me everyone!) done at On Target Guns in Kenner. John Gauthier is a pleasure to work with and is a very nice guy. He let me check out his other cool creations while the coating was curing on my gun.
As much as y'all hate 92s, gotta admit this one looks sick...
