The Clavin Jeapardy episode is all time classic.
He technically gave a correct answer to the Final Jeopardy question.
He was robbed

-Is every episode inside the bar? I don't care one way or the other, but I've noticed the entirety of what I've watched so far has all been inside the bar. I know the office was very heavily office-centric to start but they eventually had to branch out and started doing a lot more out of office stuff
I can think of an episode set on a cruise ship or yacht.

Thanksgiving episode is in a House
When Frasier and Lily have kid they have a couple episodes that are in Frasiers house
Out of all the episodes they have maybe 10-15 take place outside to bar

It changes a little over time. The Norm and Cliff stuff lasts the whole way. Some of the dynamics between Sam and waitress' change over the series.I don't remember it ever sinking very low.No jumping over the shark.
eta:On one Cheer's episode I believe Frasier said that his father was a Scientist.

Cheers was one of first shows to deal with homosexuality as a former teammate of Sam's comes out of closest....
Also Sam, Norm, Cliff, Carla are the only ones to appear on every episode

If you were to go back in history and take every president, you'll find that the numerical value of each letter in their name was equally divisible into the year in which they were elected. By my calculations, our next president has to be named Yellnick McWawa.
Along with, The minute men were actually the mi-nute men.

-When does the show really hit its stride? Seinfeld if my favorite show of all time, but I'll admit that first season is almost a completely different show compared to the mid/later seasons. It took about 2 or 3 seasons to really become "seinfeld", if that makes sense.
I would say by late first season, early second season, it starts to find it's legs. I'm excited for you, Dawg, as I watched the show when it aired.

95% of what happens in Cheers - happens in Cheers. They branch out only reluctantly and briefly.

-Reading that other thread, I got the sentiment that everyone LOVES coach. Maybe I'm just too young, but eeeehhhhhhh he's kind of TOO much of a charicature, IMO. He's the bumbling, goofy, slightly stupid old timer.
4 episodes and you're not there yet. Coach is awesome.

-In your opinion for those who have seen it all, what are your favorite seasons? You dont' have to rank them all since it's a sitcom and ranking the seasons here would be different than ranking the Wire or LOST or something..but are there any that really stand out to you as being above the rest?
I generally like the seasons that had Frasier and Diane, so, probably 3 through 5 - throw Coach in there, too, and I'll say 3 as a single favorite season.
My favorite episode is Season 1, Episode 19. My favorite single scene is from the Season 5 premiere and that is probably my second favorite episode.

I don't really like Coach's character that much. Maybe it was funny in the 80's, but I don't find him funny or interesting most of the time. He's too over the top and cheesy. I prefer Woody much more, even though he has a similar character...I think he pull sit off way better.

Albania, Albania,
you border on the A-driatic.
Your land is mostly mountainous,
and your chief export is chrome.

I'm sure you know that was his last episode.
