Glad We Are Not Going to NIT

This is the losers tournament and we need to concentrate on getting to the big dance. LSU seems very tired and played a bit over its head for a while but not so hot right now.
I have never like the NIT and glad we are not going. Need to set the sights on winning the SEC and going to NCAA.

Wouldn't two more weeks of practice and possibly 5 more games be beneficial to building towards next year?
Or is it better to sit on your arse and play X Box for the next 2 weeks?

If NIT is the loser's bracket, then what does that say about the teams that don't make it?

Guy is an idiot. Probably one of the ones that thought it would be better to not play in the chick-fil-a bowl also.

NIT would have been great for this team. Extra practice, extra games, and a chance to not end the season getting our arses handed to us by Florida.

Any tourney is a good tourney considering LSU basketball.

screw you then, I'd like to see a couple more LSU basketball games, you don't have to watch.

That's not going to happen this season, how does going to the NIT affect that goal long term?

That's ridiculous. Absolutely stupid.

Tell that to Kentucky and to their fans. They're going to suburban Pittsburgh to play in an arena that can hold 3,000 fans.

The best way to get to where we all want this program to be is by getting as much practice and games in as possible. We were already short two games this year, and anything extra would help.

Yeah, post season play for your team sucks.

Next you will be telling us that unless we go to a BCS bowl, we might as well not go to any bowls.

yeah, those extra practices and games against decent competition would sure suck

Do you know the history of the NIT? Its not a losers tournament. If it was, then UK would not have accepted a bid. The final are in Madison square garden. Its not the pinnacle but it is good for teams that are developing their talent.

playing and doing well in the NIT would be a stepping stone to that.
Your thread is full of fail
