One of the best moments in my LSU came when we played in Athens in 2009.

We were at the tailgate at some nearby high school with about 100 other LSU fans we met up there, partying like crazy. Then we walked towards the stadium down the main road which lead us right to the hedges.

What we didn't realize was that all the LSU people were going to the opposite side that we were. We were all of a sudden surrounded by Georgia faithfuls as we walked into the stadium. Then we finally made it into the stadium and when we walked out into the stands where our seats were...bam! Georgia alumni section and we were seating smack dab in the middle of them.

Those were some of the nicest people I have ever met my entire life, until Charles Scott ran for that TD. The play prior, when AJ Green made a retarded catch for the go-ahead score, was sick. The fans were telling us sorry and it was a good game but we were like, "it's not over." (In a joking way.)

Then Charles Scott happened in Athens. Not a single person, including the people that we talked to all game, said a word. They grabbed their gear and left as me and my buddy jumped and high fived like it was the BCS championship. That was easily the greatest LSU moment, on the road, I have ever been a part of.

TL;DR - I know.

I was sitting in the Alumni section too.

And, you are right. Throughout the entire game, they were the nicest people ever. Then they scored what they thought was the winning TD and everybody started barking and doing the UGA chant, and instead of having a nice discussion about the play, they got all cocky and shite.

Needless to say, me and my Dad went ape shite when Scott ran into the end zone.

Your entire story is almost word for word my exact experience. Crazy.
