Screw a T-top for a bay boat. It will just get in the way. Set up for bimini and remove it when you fish and insert it when you play or when your fish and it's hot as hell.

What kind of boat you looking at? And whatever it is do not get a Bimini top. They are horrible unless you aren't moving or fishing and just using it for shade. Much better with a custom t-top.

I should have added in that i have 2 little kids, so a day on the river would be nice to have a bimini.

Its a tough decsion, but you guys are more experienced than me. Can you still cast easy from the front deck with the bimini up?
