I would have to agree with you. It doesn't look 5 lbs, but perspective in pictures is funny

A spot shaped like that is probably gonna have to push 22-23" to be 5 lbs. I don't know this for sure, because I've never caught one 5 lbs, just speculating. A 19 3/4" fish I caught weighed 3.5 lbs. That fish looks closer to 18-19" than 22-23". Again, I'm just going off the appearance in the picture.

where do you put the yak in and take it back out?
always been interested in doing something like that in my kayak but never had enough info on doing it to feel comfortable about it

Assuming that's a regular ole zara spook that fish is no more than 18 inches.

5lb class Kentucky's are fatter than that fish.
