North Arkansas/South Missouri lakes like Bull Shoals and Norfork Lake have some very nice spotted bass.
I could always pattern them in the heat of summer on shear rock walls where the water is about 20 to 30 feet deep. Catching them on top with a chrome/blue back baby chug bug...
