I had Charter before and it was $60/mo. I think my modem broke or something and i got pissed at them and saw at&t's price and i switched. I've never liked charter in general so I'd rather not switch. I may just call and see. Was trying to see if anyone had any experiences with negotiating with them.

Where are you located?
I'm in Baton Rouge and I have Cox internet for 52$/month for a few years now and the price has never increased. I think cox has horrible customer service when it comes to tv, but their internet has yet to really disappoint me.
Insurance is going to vary tremendously everywhere, there's really too many variables with that to give you a good rec. I would just call around and keep getting quotes.
