Let's see here dumbass..... Best running back (arguably) in the country. Wants to play in
SEC at one of best schools in football (LSU). Lives in south (La.). Book it - He will be playing in the SEC. More than likely LSU. However, Ala. is the reigning 2 time BCS national champion. Everyone should at least consider the Tide and feel worthy and happy to get an invite to be part of their program. LSU is arguably the best football progam over the past 10 years under Les Miles. If we ever get a national caliber QB we'll be winning national titles again. Perilloux was the start of the dynasty but Miles pulled the plug on him so hopefully Mett can get the job done in 2013 and then the Cali kid or some dual-threat QB can take us to the promised land in 2014 - w Fournette leading the way. Geuax Tigers! It's time again.....

If I recall, letting Perilloux go was a unified team decision even though ultimately it was the staff and Miles who did the official dirty work...

I'm with you on the QB situation DrD. We've played Bama to a 2-2 record the last 4 games and that's without a competent QB like Matt Flynn. Given a good QB the past 2 years and LSU would have 2 more crystal balls in the trophy case and the writers talking about an LSU dynasty instead of Bama. While I hope that LF signs with us, it's not absolutely necessary. Remember Jacob Hester? He was a two star recruit and look what he did at LSU. Small fullback, but big heart!
As far as QB, I'm not looking for Mett to take us anywhere just as JaMarcus Russell. When Russell was in, I kept shouting for Flynn as he had better vision and better command of the game. We have signed another pro style out of Cali, but we've also got a dual threat that could be our best bet. It seems like they do a bit better in college than pro styles.
