Where is he on the depth chart and is he always at cornerback. Seems big and athletic enough to play safety. Did he do anything this year other than intercepting Matt Ryan to end Falcons undefeated run?

He was absolutely terrible his first couple of games at nickel.
Then he turned it around big time and played really well for the real of the season, some at nickel some as a starting CB.
The last few games I didn't notice him as much and I saw Mack playing more nickel and corner.
He never played safety from what I saw, but I don't think he needed to with IAQ stepping up at that position.

Like Suntiger stated, started off really poorly as most rookies do but picked it up before he got hurt. I don't think he posseses the bump and run coverage capability to play at safety or on the outside yet. It would be tough for him to cover big TE's or Megatrons every down.

this time of year there is no depth chart IMO. Let some free agency and draft play out and we can have an idea of who fits where.
He had safety written all over his scouting reports last year. Haven't seen or heard a sniff of that of him in NOLA tho.
He was inserted into the lineup way too early. It was brutal watching him. One of the bigger mistakes in personnel moves last year. It's another one I question if it was on Spags. Elbert Mack clearly should have been kept out of camp to play- as he later showed when inserted.
The upside is that White got some valuable reps and made a lot of improvement over his course of time in the toaster.

it'd be nice if one of our corners actually plays cornerback for a change. I see him competiting for a starting cb position this year for sure, not really a given who will be starting this year with FA/Draft still pending.

He got hurt in the game we beat Atlanta, and they put him on IR. He can probably be our nickel CB or start at SS if we trade or cut Harper. He played there in college

He played much more than just "got in the game against Atlanta", and when healthy last year was the starting Nickel CB.

This is incorrect. White actually began the season as the #2 corner against Washington because of Greer's sports hernia & did so for the first 3 games until Greer returned against Green Bay.
