There is a house on Burbank with a big sign in their front yard advertising boiled and live crawfish. Its down a little ways from Lakeside bar and grill.

Anybody been there? What's the prices?

I bought a sack from him Saturday, and many sacks last season. He sells them live and boiled. Seems to always have live ones in stock and is always boiling.

Ours had really good size for this time of year, and didn't notice ANY dead ones in our sack.

His name is Al and his number is 333-0375.

I pass all the time and wondered about him. So you just drive up and order a few pounds?

(I just called him to verify info before posting) Yes, he boils from Friday through Sunday, and he said to feel free to stop by and buy boiled by the pound, or sack(s) of live. He also said he can have crawfish during the week but to call him in advance for that.

One thing I don't need to verify is that he has been boiling for a very long time and knows what he is doing.

Funny. I figured I would get one or more of those. I do know the guy (Al) and don't mind passing on information responding to questions asked about his crawfish business. I live off of Highland by I-10, a decent distance from Burbank, and I buy crawfish, I don't sell em!

Thanks for the info. I think I'll stop by and pick up 10 lbs this weekend. What was the price for boiled when you bought it recently?

Glad the info was helpful. We bought them live Saturday. Not sure what he charges for boiled.

Thanks, Al. But I'll keep going to Montalbano's until you verify.
