I'm talking about the quality of pitching in college baseball increasing over time.
I didn't say pitchers dominated before the bat changes.

I'm saying if the bats were the same it would be as tough as it was then to evaluate pitchers because they would be giving up bombs. MLB couldn't get a read on how good pitching was back then because the bats canceled out good pitches. I think the reason we think pitching is better now is because the numbers show up as better. I don't think the arms are any better now than they were JMO
