That is pretty much my point.

I was basically referring to industry accountants specifically. In public accounting, being licensed is required to do your job, or get promoted, not to mention a CPA bonus.

I would think in a job where there is less incentive to pass, one would purchase a cheaper program, have less drive, and lower the pass rates for that particular study program. I assume that those that have the greatest drive to pass, will purchase the most expensive, and most acclaimed, program which bolster pass rates. Essentially, I am saying that it is all about drive to pass, and not so much about study material.
