I went to one this past summer in Ennis, TX. Not too far from Dallas. I saw Savages and Ted double feature. I wanna say it was like $6 to get in. The audio played on an FM station, so you could keep the windows rolled up. Or they did have the speaker thing that hooks onto the window if you choose. This particular drive-in has digital projectors I believe and the picture quality was pretty good. It also had about 6 different screens. So while we were watching Savages/Ted, other people were watching Avengers, that Katy Perry movie, etc.

I had a blast. It was so comfortable to watch the movie too. I could get comfortable in the seat, the GF and I could talk if we wanted to without disturbing anyone else. I'd go more often if they had a movie theater a little closer to where I live.

Richardson is getting an Alamo Drafthouse this summer, so I'm looking forward to that. They should definitely think about putting one in Baton Rouge. Alamo is perfect for a college town.
