An Actual Discussion About Tony Brown

First, congrats on Paris. Great get; not a surprise, but well done.
Second, this is a bit of a spin-off from the other Brown thread. The goal here is to solicit some real responses about Brown as a prospect. Not looking to flame or discuss who's taking whose territory.
I don't see it in Tony's film. And so you know this isn't sour grapes, I don't really see it with Hoza Scott, either.
When watching the film of a proclaimed all-world DB, I expect to see Craig Loston. Granted, Craig's not a corner nor is he the player I thought he'd be (yet). Nevertheless, Loston's film is the standard, IMO. I'd bet some of you would agree.
So tell me what excites y'all about Brown's film. I don't pretend to be an expert, so I'm not asserting my opinion as gospel. Obviously his offer list trumps whatever criticism I provide. I just want to understand what the fuss is about.

Everyone forgets that these films are from a kid that's 16 or 17 years old. They aren't physically mature at all. He's gonna be a stud this year

why start a new thread?
Because that thread's focus was on TAMU delusion/Hamm hatred.
I actually want to read a decent analysis of the player.
But hey, you can let it die. Just bored on a Sunday afternoon.

Alabama
Auburn
Baylor
Illinois
LSU
Michigan State
Mississippi State
Nebraska
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Ole Miss
Rutgers
Texas
Texas A&M
Texas Tech
TCU
UCLA
USC
West Virginia
He's elite. And for whatever reason if these schools didn't think he was elite and offering to get another teammate, you'd be wrong there because they dont have anybody else on his team.

Out of this world Quick feet
Great Hips
Not as instinctive as Ed Paris but his physical traits make up for that.
Tough/Likes to Hit
Has room to get bigger and probably will not lose any speed.
This is all the things you look for in a DB and the reasons he is a 5*.

I take no issue deferring to the offer list. This was implied in the OP.
His skills aren't apparent to me.
So edify me. Tell me why--on paper--he's seemingly the best CB in the country.

Do you think jermaine Roberts is better than TB like your other aggie buddies?

So his skills arent apparent to you, but they are apparently blatantly obvious to the guys that matter from just about every major school in the country, including your own, that have offered him a scholarship offer very early on.

Of course, that's why LSU passed up on the in-state kid to go after several other OOS kids for now, including Brown

Wow, DWag, you are really going after LSU today.
What's your problem?
First the flame-post on the SEC Rant about the draft and now coming after guys who are 5 star DB's from Texas commiting to LSU and calling them overrated.
Why don't we just all wait and see?

How would you feel if he was going to be an aggie?? He'd be Revis meets Ed reed right?

Exactly.
That's seems off, right? One would think you'd pop in the tape and be blown away--even if your eye is untrained. I don't think my opinion is a rare one. As I already said, his offer list clinches the argument that he's elite.
I would just like someone to articulate why Tony's received so much attention.
