Playing their first show in a while tonight at Mud + Water. Recorded a new album and from what I hear is going to be fantastic. To Kill a Party

I agree, Bearfighter and Irene and the Sleepers playing as well. Pretty good lineup. It'll be interesting at M+W.

It's right under the new bridge near the Pastime

anybody make it out? if so, how was it?

Didn't get to go, but I heard Irene and the sleepers were really good

I made it out. Rain might have put a damper on the crowd early on but the show was great. Irene was solid, hadn't seen them in some time. Some of them were Tyler Read guys if I'm not mistaken.

I have only heard of this band from TD. I have only heard a little of their music. I am very much a fan

If you like rob zombie, you'll love them.

Are they a big deal or what's the book on them. You'd be the guy to ask right?
Posted on 2/24/13 at 5:15 pm to JohnZeroQ
They have a lot of potential to do some stuff on a national level as a hard southern rock band.

Irene and To Kill A Party put on a hell of a show even though TKaP blew one of the speakers at one point during the set...they managed and the new members and songs sounded extremely promising...

Oh shite.. Blew a speaker?
Posted on 2/24/13 at 5:47 pm to TheDoc
Yeah it blew but somehow even with a blown speaker it all worked out.

Yeah but like Mad said it all worked out somehow and wasn't really noticeable...I'm really looking forward to what these dudes are capable of, so much talent...
