Strictly for fun. I don't own a farm and they are much more comfortable for long rides than any atv.
Leaning towards a 2 seated polaris 900 xp razor.
Any of you guy/gals own a can am or arctic cat wildcat. Both are 1000s but also a few inches wider. Would rather avoid not being able to fit through gates up here in the northeast. Explanation: some trails have posts at the entrance and don't allow vehicles over a certain width.
Thoughts?

I think both the can am and wildcat are belt drives. Razor is shaft. Belts suck IMO. My mud pro always gets moisture in there. Can never figure out where it gets in.

This is the correct answer. If you have the money I MAY would look at the Can Am, but I don't think the pay off would be worth the extra money. Just say no to the Arctic Cat. They are complete turds. I really don't see how they stay in business.
You will love the RZR.

Razor is belt driven as well.
I think you'd be fine with any of the choices you mentioned.

You are correct. Someone told me that the other day.

I am on my second mud pro right now. I goes through any hole stock. Cats are not a bad bike. All atvs have something that someone doesn't like. For instance why can't Honda put IRS on their 500 foreman. It would be the best bike in its class hands down. Might be already

I will clarify. In my experience with ACs, they are complete turds. At mud nats, you never see one show up two years in a row.

What happened to your first MudPro?
Posted on 2/21/13 at 12:40 pm to Nado Jenkins83

Traded a used 700 for a new 1000 last year. This will be my last toy for a while.
Right now:
2010 ford raptor
2011 mud pro 100
1985 Atc 70 work in progress. Frame is getting powder coated and then I will slap on new 160cc piranha engine and all new plastics

I just cant see where they are worth this, but thats just me. I would rather a $8k four wheeler and $10k jeep/yota.

Hence why I said looking at them. They are no doubt pricey
Posted on 2/21/13 at 1:49 pm to Nado Jenkins83
Yeah, you can run up the money being spent on them in a quick hurry. I wish I had back all the money I've spent on ATV's in the past.
