Mingo was the No. 1 prospect when going to LSU

Since when was Mingo ever the number one prospect? Out of high school he was an outside linebacker and the 155th best player in the country according to rivals.

I don't think they're using the phrase #1 as literal but just that he was highly thought of there. That and before last season he was projected as a potential Top 5 pick. He didn't have a ball of fire season so now his rank is being sorted out. He could still go Top 5 but many think he could easily fall into the second half of Rd 1. I'm counting him at 50% being on the board right at #15 now. Prolly less after the Combine.

I think the Jets take him or Jordan at #9 and we get the the other one
