Thoughts on starting a position in BP now...

Any thoughts on this? It is currently at $41.13.
I plan on holding for a long time.
I think the civil trials start February 25th, so would starting a position now be considered a gamble? Should I wait til they wrap up? Should I not invest in them at all.

Your talking about trying to make money on the most hated public company on the Gulfcoast. I doubt your going to find too much enthusiasm about the stock. At least from my end anyways.

Back after it plummted initially, that was obviously the time to get in. I think most civil liability has to be priced in at this point right? I mean, there may be some movement with the results or day to day revelations of the trial, but I think most people have to think this trial probably won't be great for BP.
