One of the positives that I took away was that Hammink and Collins were both needed tonight and both logged some positive minutes. This will be huge if it continues if we make a run in the SEC tourney or postseason tourney where fatigue can become a factor.

Combined:
0 pts
0 rebounds
1 Asst.
1 TO
4 Fouls
I wouldn't exactly call that "positive" minutes. Right now the game looks way too big for Hammink, and Collins is in so much of a hurry to make something happen that he turns it over. Still plenty of time in their careers for improvement, but I don't know how much LSU can coun't on them this season.
Aside from that, if LSU plays Sat. like they did last night, they should win going away. Plain and simple, it was UT's night. Bama will defend better than UT, but they won't come close to shooting that well.

Everytime he touches the ball he is just a turnover waiting to happen. Hammink wasn't much better in 14 minutes but at least he managed one assist and no turnovers. It is, unfortuately, not a positive when either one of them is on the floor. Hammink at least plays pretty good defense and shows some potential, although his offensive game needs a lot of work. Corban Collins just not show anything good at this point.
