My gripe was mainly that LK shouldn't really be considered "light years" behind any other Disney score. But I actually agree with you that LM is probably the best overall Disney animation movie score. It's very good.

Fantastic songs. I like the LK songs more, but the songs in LM did better assisting the movie, if that makes sense. Part of Your World is pretty deep shite, and it really does a great job of telling the audience exactly who Ariel is.
