Ace.... I've seen

SAS, the 82nd, ST 2, 4 and devgru, operating including live action and spent Nearly a month in Israel........ saw them a little too...

I got some real good looks at the 82nd when my uncle was the CO at Bragg, ironically this was whilst I was in the navy...
Knew a lot about our Soviet friends.....

Comparing SEALs to the 82nd, yeah it is apples and oranges....which one has higher fail rate?

I like a kittle applein my orange juice..

I've been around all those guys as well. No special operations unit wants to tangle with an elite combat battalion. By the same token, no 82nd rifle squad wants to defend a control tower against a SEAL team. Those units have different missions, like different tools in a toolbox - hammer for nail, screwdriver for screw.

The fact that they all use guns and kill people is where the similarities end.
