MJ versus Lebron - One on one...

Who would win?
I think MJ is currently the GOAT. However, by winning more rings, I think Lebron could pass him.
With that being said, Lebron is faster, stronger, and more athletic. I would take Lebron in a game of one on one against MJ.
I'm sure this thread has been done before, but Collin Cowherd was talking about it this morning. He basically said if you remove the names from each player and were told Player A is 6'6/220 LBS and Player B is 6'8/275 LBS; and that Player B is bigger, stronger, faster, and more athletic, you would almost have to choose Player B (Lebron).
Thoughts?

These people play 2 different positions.. Obviouslly Lebron has size\athletic advantage.

Both in their prime?
If so this is still the correct answer

This thread will contain a lot of bickering and nothing will get accomplished.
one on one, lebron would win just due to the physical attribues. However, MJ is still better than lebron and it really isn't a debate at this point. In 10 years maybe, in 2013 no, just no.

one on one i take MJ.
though, if i had the first pick in a draft, and i had to choose between the two, im taking lebron.
no other player in the history of the league can play and defend all 5 positions like he does. fuuuark the king boys

Jordan, more versatile scorer and superior defender

Jordan
Let's not forget how great of a scorer/defender MJ was.
I think Lebron would bang him up in the post though

he wont, that would mean hes have to win 5 to 6 more in the next 8 years

I meant winning more rings than he currently has. Not more rings than MJ. I will have to edit OP.
