If the recruiter/evaluator position pays close to what he'll be making at LT, then yeah, I could see him working in BR/NOLA over Ruston. The move to Tech could have been more monetary based than career advancement, so again, I think a lot depends on the money here.

Juluke could be LSU's recruiting coordinator in five years for all we know. Do you think he would prefer to be LSU's recruiting coordinator, or bounce around low tier college football as a position assistant? Who knows, but I do think you are undervaluing what this position could lead to at LSU.

I like Juluke a lot for this position. Not saying we get him by any means, but he'd be a great addition to the staff.

Good HS Football Coach who was always a fan of LSU. But he would definitely be superfluous to our efforts recruiting in-state.

Wilson is the skeleton key to anyone in New Orleans. With precious few exceptions, he hasn't lost out to anyone in a head-to-head other than $uper Trooper Taylor when he was paying Trovon Reed & Robinson through Reed's stepfather's "Non-Profit".

We get who we want in New Orleans thanks to Frank. Jabbar needs time to develop the administrative, time-management part of the grind of being a football coach. He would be a net-negative at this point.

That won't always be the case, because one day Frank is going to leave to go prove himself as an Offensive Coordinator. I'm not sure he'll get that shot at LSU, and he needs that opportunity so he can bolster his resume to be head coach here one day. That's his ultimate dream.

But for now, Frank & Jabbar would overlap and be redundant as recruiters, and Jabbar needs to prove himself as a developer of talent at the collegiate level in a coaching capacity.

So he's not the right hire now.
