Should SEC follow BIG 10 non-FSC schedule?

I know SEC is tough so please don't use that argument.

Yes

Id say no more than 1 per season. But those schools get good money for playing up so why not

i think it would be a good thing. it would make the "cupcake" games a little more exciting

I would bet a good number of FCS teams would of been better than about 4 SEC teams last year. (UT, UK, Auburn, and take your pick between Arky and Mizzou)
Besides to a team like LSU or Bama, or any other team at the elite level. What's the difference between a Arky St. and McNeese. We should destroy either.
I have no problem with playing FCS teams, but then it should required to be regional at least. We have no need to play a FCS from MD, with all the FCS teams in LA, SE TX and south MS

As long as other BCS schools can't back out of contracts that say they have to travel to SEC stadiums.

Yes. Playing an FCS team is embarrassing.

The better FCS teams are not that bad. Definitely competitive with the teams from 90 - 120.....
I mean Michigan lost to App State..
This is not a move to avoid weak competition, it is a move to save embarrassment.....
NOT REALLY, I think the Big 10 wants strength of schedule points..... But I bet it doesn't work, because these teams will replace FCS teams with the newbies in FBS..... ( I still prefer D1 and 1a)

Don't really care. So we replace an FCS school with a bottom of the barrel Sun Belt team. Either way, I will still watch and LSU will still win.

As a fan I would like to gain something from us scheduling these teams, like a good away OOC game the same season

Don't agree completely. Play 1 tune-up game and then get into D-1 opponents. Think we ought to play at least 2 teams from BCS conferences every year. Not Oklahoma and Florida State in the same year, but mid level teams out of the Big 10/11/12/14 (whatever the hell they are now), ACC, Pac 12 and Big 12/10?
Something like a TCU, Miami, Michigan State, Arizona State, Texas, Boston College, Minnesota, Illinois, Oklahoma State, UCLA....2 a year.
8 SEC Teams - on a rotating E/W schedule - not a permanent cross divisional opponent.
1 FCS
2 BCS (mid-levels)
1 D-1 (the likes of in-state, CUSA, or MAC)

No. That is nothing more than posturing. Playing an App St. or Sam Houston is the exact same as playing a low level MAC team or Army. The B1G can avoid all the FCS teams they want, it still won't help them beat the SEC.
We'll see if they change their tunes once they start getting teams that back out of committed games 6 months before the season starts too. That has been how many of LSU's FCS opponents have ended up on the schedule.

If I were the NCAA, I'd be unhappy with this policy becoming widespread because it would cripple or limit many schools.
I'm fine with LSU playing FCS in-state schools. I'd rather see that money be spent in-state rather than to Western Illinois or Applicachian State

The only way that would work would be if the SEC scheduling office could arrange the schedule each year so that Alabama gets the weaker teams.
