Exactly, the coaches should play the best player regardless of class.

I've seen this at our high school, volleyball coach only played her upperclassmen despite having Freshmen who were much better. They went as far as having the Fr. setter teach the older setter how to do things she was taught in club and college clinics but would not allow her to do the same things in the Fr. or JV games. Needless to say she no longer plays for them.

Why is everyone praising this kid?

The coach was not playing him because the other guy was better, right???
