Just got qualified at 3.2% is this good or should we shop around more?

I'd jump on it. We ended up at 3.375/30 yrs when we closed 6 mo ago

Anything 3.5 or below is good on the current 30 year fixed...

You can tell me to kiss your arse for asking this, and I would understand, but would you mind telling me what your credit score is??

Is this the rate or the APR?

Just a heads up:
Prime rate is 3.25%
The longer terms bring higher interest rates (due to uncertainty of collecting interest in future terms)

Where did you get this rate? I'm building a house and will be closing in the next month or two.

I refinanced months back and I got a rate of 3.8 makes a huge difference but I went with a 20 year mortgage

who is doing your mortgage and if you don't mind me asking what percentage are you intending to put down? We are in the process of buying now and i think we have ours at 3.68. Which is still good, but we both have credit scores 790 and up.

I did my build and permanent financing through E federal Credit Union. They just sold off the loan to another lender. I financed 65% the total cost.

Betting farm this is usaa . 3.2 on 30 0/0 is low.
Posted on 2/14/13 at 4:35 pm to ItNeverRains
That would basically mean USAA is losing money. If prime is 3.25, and there are no points/closing costs, they make no $$

Usaa on a va loan can offer discounts to vets. You agree to get shot at, you get an 8th to quarter discount

I've got USAA and they couldn't beat the rate I was offered by my credit union. I guess I wasn't worthy.
